JAKARTA MAJALAHCEO.com – The trial of the case of unilateral termination of employment by PT Tech Data Advanced Solutions Indonesia in the Industrial Relations Court entered the stage of submitting the plaintiff’s response to the defendant’s exception.
The Chief Judge Bintang Al who presided over the hearing asked for the completeness of the power of attorney after the plaintiff submitted his written response.
Plaintiff’s attorney Ronny Asril said that the completion of the power of attorney is still in process. In fact, the time to complete is already long passed, since the third trial.
“It is still in the process,” said Rony Asril during the PHI hearing at the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (6/17).
After the plaintiff submits a replica, the next trial stage is a duplicate, that is, the respondent’s answer to the plaintiff’s replica. Scheduled to be held on Wednesday next week (6/24).
“Before it is postponed, are there any questions or not? If not, this trial will be closed,” said Chief Judge Bintang Al.
In the third trial before, the plaintiff’s attorney, Rony Asril, explained that the power of attorney was not yet equipped because the company leadership was abroad.
“This depends on government policy there. Because Covid-19 government institutions are also closed,” he said, Wednesday (5/20).
Previously the defendant’s attorney checked with the Case Clerk on May 14 asking for the completion of the power of attorney for trial purposes. But the plaintiff claimed that they were still processing it.
Employees affected by layoffs have mediated with the facilitation of Central Jakarta Sudinnakertrans and then received advice to come back to work again. But PT Tech Data Advanced Solutions Indonesia did not carry out this recommendation and file a lawsuit in court. (CEO/rls/dey)
